Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Cattle Transaction Levy Act 1995.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These regulations commence on 1 December 1996.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (National Cattle Disease Eradication Trust Account—amount of levy)

3.1   Omit “30 cents”, substitute “25 cents”.

4.   New regulation 5

4.1   After regulation 4, insert:

Australian Animal Health Council Limited (AAHC)—amount of levy

 “5. For the purposes of paragraph 5 (2) (f) of the Act, 0 cents is prescribed.”.
