Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Cattle Transaction Levy Act 1995.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1997.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (National Cattle Disease Eradication Trust Account—amount of levy)

3.1   Omit the regulation, substitute:

National Cattle Disease Eradication Trust Account—amount of levy

 “4. For subparagraph 5 (1) (d) (v) of the Act, 17 cents is prescribed.”.

4.   Regulation 5 (Australian Animal Health Council Limited (AAHC)—amount of levy)

4.1   Omit the regulation, substitute:

Australian Animal Health Council Limited—amount of levy

 “5. (1) For paragraph 5 (1) (f) of the Act, 13 cents is prescribed.

 “(2) For paragraph 5 (2) (f) of the Act, 0 cents is prescribed.”.
