An Act to repeal the Cattle
Slaughter Levy Act 1960, and for purposes connected therewith.
[Assented to 6th May, 1964.]
BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent
Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of
Australia, as follows:—
Short
title.
1. This Act
may be cited as the Cattle Slaughter Levy
Repeal Act 1964.
Commencement.
2. This Act
shall come into operation on the date fixed by Proclamation under section two
of the Live-stock Slaughter Levy Act 1964.
Repeal
and savings.
3.—(1.) Subject to the next succeeding sub-section,
the Cattle Slaughter Levy Act 1960 is
repealed.
(2.) Subject to the Cattle Slaughter Levy (Suspension) Act 1961, the provisions of the Cattle Slaughter Levy Act 1960
