HEREAS certain fatal and contrrgious discascs sometimes |
spread of such diseases amongst the cattle in the Province of South | |
Australia, and for that purpose to prevent the importation of cattle into the said Province from any place where auy such con- tagious or fatal. diseases prevail, and to | |
said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: |
Council, by Proclamation in the | |
or any particular description of cattle into the said Province from such places, and dwing such time, as shall be set forth in any such Proclamation. and to alter or revoke any such Froclamation; and | |
if, during the time when any such Proclamation shall be in force, | |
cattle, | |
1. It shall be lawful for the Governor from time to time, and at | clamation, |
any time hereafter, with the advice and consent of the Executive |
any such Proclamation, such person shall be liable to a fine notexceeding Five Hundred Pounds, and also to be imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for any period not exceeding six calendar months, a d
such cattle shall be forfeited to Her Mhjesty.
