Cattle Export Charge Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Cattle Export Charges Act 1990.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 August 1996.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Cattle Export Charge Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 1 (Citation)

3.1   Omit “Charge”, substitute “Charges”.

4.   Regulation 3 (Interpretation)

4.1   Definition of “the Act”:

Omit “Charge”, substitute “Charges”.

5.   New regulation 5

5.1   Add at the end:

National Cattle Disease Eradication Trust Account—amount of charge

 “5.(1) For the purposes of subparagraph 6A (1) (d) (v) of the Act, 30 cents is prescribed.

 “(2) For the purposes of paragraph 6A (3) (d) of the Act, 30 cents is prescribed.”.
