CATTLE COMPENSATION (AMENDMENT) ACT.
An Act to increase the maximum amount of compen- sation payable out of the Cattle Compensation Fund in respect of any one head of cattle; for this purpose to amend the Cattle Compensation Act, 1951-1957; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 22nd November, 1962.] BE Act No. 23, 1962.

| Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: — |
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Cattle Compensa- tion (Amendment) Act, 1962".

(2) The Cattle Compensation Act, 1951-1957, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Cattle Compensa- tion Act, 1951-1962.
(3) This Act shall commence upon a day to be appointed by the Governor and notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.
The Cattle Compensation Act, 1951-1957, is amended by omitting from subsection (1B) of section six the words "thirty-six pounds" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "fifty pounds".
