Catchment Management Amendment

(Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment

Management Board) Regulation 2002

Catchment Management Act 1989

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Catchment Management Act 1989.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Catchment Management Regulation

1999:

(a)	to include the Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment Management Board in clause 4 of that Regulation as a Catchment Management Trust to which the Regulation applies, and
(b)	to include additional registered plans in clause 6 of that Regulation, which provides for the areas for which Catchment Management Trusts are established by reference to areas shown on certain registered plans.

This Regulation also repeals a spent Regulation.
This Regulation is made under the Catchment Management Act 1989, including
section 21 (3) (Establishment of Catchment Management Trusts) and section 63

(the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Catchment Management Amendment (Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment Management Board) Regulation 2002.

2 Amendment of Catchment Management Regulation 1999

The Catchment Management Regulation 1999 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

3 Repeal

The Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment Management Trust Regulation

1999 is repealed.

Note. This Regulation makes provision with respect to the Catchment Management Trusts listed in clause 4. The Hunter Catchment Management Trust Regulation 1997 makes provision in respect of the Hunter Catchment Management Trust.

6     Board areas

The area in respect of which a Board is established is the area marked with the name of the Board and shown on one of the following registered plans held in the Department of Land and Water Conservation and in the office of the Board:

(a)	the registered plan called Miscellaneous Sydney Plan Series MS 23016-3000,
(b)	the registered plan called Hawkesbury-Nepean CMB MS 23018-3000,
(c)	the registered plan called Sydney Harbour CMB MS 23019-3000.
