CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT ACT 1989—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 21 (1) of the Catchment Management Act 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 1 (Catchment Management Trusts) to that Act by adding the following name to Part 1 of that Schedule :

Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment Management Trust

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Section 20 (1) of the Catchment Management Act 1989 provides that a Trust listed in Schedule 1 to that Act is established as a Catchment Management Trust. Section 20 (2) provides that a Trust is a corporation with the corporate name specified in that Schedule.

The object of this Proclamation is to add the Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment Management Trust to Part 1 of that Schedule. Part 1 contains the names of Catchment Management Trusts whose establishment is recommended by the Minister administering the Catchment Management Act 1989 (at present, the

Minister for Land and Water Conservation).
