Act No. 55, 1901.

An Act to reduce the area of the Municipal i ty of

Casino. [3rd December, 1901.]

WH E R E A S Casino were du ly defined in accordance wi th t he law re la t ing

the l imits and boundar ies of t h e Munic ipa l Dis t r ic t of

to municipal i t ies :  A n d whereas i t is desired to alter the l imits a n d

boundar ies so defined : Re i t therefore enacted by t h e K i n g ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty, by and w i t h the advice a n d consent of t h e Legisla­ t ive Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Par l ia­ m e n t assembled, and by the au tho r i t y of t h e same, as fo l lows:—

1. The l imits and boundar ies of t h e Munic ipa l Dis t r ic t of

Casino shall be those set forth in t h e Schedule to this A c t :

Provided t h a t n o t h i n g in th is A c t shal l affect—

(a) t h e operation before t he c o m m e n c e m e n t of this Act of a n y

enac tmen t or by- law or a n y t h i n g du ly suffered, done, or

commenced to be done before t h e c o m m e n c e m e n t of th i s Ac t ,

u n d e r any e n a c t m e n t or by- law ; or

(b)	any r igh t , privilege, obligat ion, or l iabil i ty acquired, accrued, or incur red before t h e commencemen t of th is A c t unde r any
e n a c t m e n t or b y - l a w ; or
(c)	any pena l ty , forfei ture, or pena l ty or p u n i s h m e n t incurred in respect of any offence commit ted before t he commencemen t
of th is A c t ; or
(d)	any invest igat ion, legal proceeding, or remedy in respect of a n y such r igh t , privi lege, obligation, l iabil i ty, penal ty , forfei ture , or p u n i s h m e n t as aforesaid; and a n y such invest igat ion, legal proceeding, or remedy m a y be ins t i tu ted , cont inued, or enforced as if this A c t had not been passed.

2. This Ac t shall be const rued wi th t h e Munic ipa l i t ies Act ,
