Casino Gaming Amendment Rule (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This rule may be cited as the Casino Gaming Amendment Rule (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Rule amended This rule amends the Casino Gaming Rule 1999. 3 Amendment of sch 14 (Texas hold’em poker) (1) Section 24(6)— insert— ‘(d) go all-in.’. (2) Section 25(5)— insert— ‘(d) go all-in.’. (3) Section 28(1), ‘(10)’— omit, insert— ‘(11)’. (4) Section 28(1), before ‘straddle betting’— insert— ‘no limit betting,’. (5) Section 28(2) and (3)— omit, insert— ‘(2) A player may make a raise that is— (a) not less than the minimum raise under subsection (4) for a round of betting and not more than the maximum raise under the betting structure that applies to the round; or (b) if structured betting applies at the table—in the amount provided for under subsection (9). ‘(3) Despite subsection (2)(a), if the minimum raise under subsection (4) for a round of betting would be more than the Page 2 2008 SL No. 90

(6) Section 28(5), example, ‘for subsection (5)’— omit, insert— ‘of full pot betting’. (7) Section 28(6), example, ‘for subsection (6)’— omit, insert— ‘of half pot betting’. (8) Section 28— insert— ‘(6A) If no limit betting applies for the round of betting, a player’s raise must not be less than the amount of the last bet made by an active player. Example of no limit betting — If the last active player made a call and raise totalling $200, the next active player must bet a minimum amount of $200 to call and $200 to raise.’. (9) Section 28(9)— omit, insert— ‘(9) A table for Texas hold’em poker must have a sign at the table that states the betting structure that applies at the table.’. (10) Section 28(11)— insert — ‘ betting structure means full pot betting, half pot betting, no limit betting, straddle betting or structured betting.’. (11) Section 28(6A) to (11)— renumber as section 28(7) to (12). (12) Section 29— insert— ‘(10) The amount bet by a player under subsection (2)(c) is taken not to be a raise.’. 2008 SL No. 90 Page 3
