Regulations (No. 2) 1998

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Casino Control
(Burswood Island) (Licensing of Employees) Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 1998.

2.            Regulation 16 replaced by regulations 16, 16A and 16B

Regulation 16 of the Casino Control (Burswood Island)
(Licensing of Employees) Regulations 1985* is repealed and the
following regulations are inserted instead —

16.          Letter of censure

(1) If the Commission considers that the circumstances
warrant it, the Commission may serve on a casino key
employee licence holder or casino employee licence
holder a letter of censure censuring the holder of the
licence in respect of a matter set out in
regulation 15(1).
(2) The Commission shall cause a copy of a letter served
on the holder of a licence under subregulation (1) to be
forwarded to the Operator.
16A. Imposition of fine

If the Commission considers that the circumstances warrant it, the Commission may impose a fine of an amount not exceeding $1 000 on a casino key employee licence holder or casino employee licence holder in respect of a matter set out in regulation 15(1).

16B. Combination of punitive measures
Where the Commission considers it appropriate, and in
response to a matter described in regulation 15(1), the
Commission may combine 2 or all of the punitive
measures set out in regulations 15, 16 ands 16A, and

impose that combination of measures on a casino key
employee licence holder or casino employee licence

holder.
