Casino Control (Amendment) Act 1992

An Act to amend the Casino Control Act 1988

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Casino Control (Amendment) Act 1992.
Commencement
2. This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.
Principal Act
3. In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Casino Control Act 1988.1
Gaming by certain persons prohibited
4. Section 75 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(2A) Subsection (2) does not apply to a casino employee who, in the ordinary course of his or her work in relation to the operation of the casino, provides food or beverages to patrons of the casino.”.
