CASA EX81/23 — Exclusion from the Operation of Airworthiness Directives AD 2023-10-02 and AD 2023-11-07 Instrument 2023

1          Name

                 This instrument is CASA EX81/23 — Exclusion from the Operation of Airworthiness Directives AD 2023-10-02 and AD 2023-11-07 Instrument 2023.

2          Duration

                 This instrument:

(a)   commences on 7 August 2023; and

(b)   is repealed if the ADs are cancelled.

3          Exclusion

                 Aircraft specified in Schedule 1 are excluded from the actions specified in paragraphs (h), (i)(1) and (i)(2) of both airworthiness directives AD 2023‑10‑02 and FAA AD 2023-11-07 (the ADs), issued by the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States of America, as in force immediately before the commencement of this instrument, when an aircraft is operated outside the contiguous airspace of the United States of America.

Note 1Paragraphs (h) and (i) of the ADs require registered operators to revise the Limitations Section of the existing Aircraft Flight Manual when the aircraft flight operations are to be conducted in the contiguous airspace of the United States of America. This instrument only applies to this requirement.

Note 2All requirements of the ADs must be complied with when an Australian registered aircraft is operated in the contiguous airspace of the United States of America.

              Any Australian registered aircraft.
