Exemption — display of markings

1          Duration

            This instrument:

(a)   commences on 1 January 2009; and

(b)   stops having effect at the end of 31 December 2010.

2          Application

            This instrument applies to all Diamond DA 42 aircraft whose markings do not meet the minimum height, width and painting requirements of Part 45 of CASR 1998.

3          Exemption

             The DA 42 aircraft is exempt from compliance with the requirements of regulations 45.065, 45.070 and paragraph 45.085 (2) (c) of CASR 1998.

4          Condition

            The exemption is subject to the condition mentioned in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1          Condition

             Lateral markings must be displayed in accordance with the Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manual.
