Exemption — certificate of release to service – foreign approved maintenance organisations

1          Duration

This instrument:

(a)   commences on the day of registration; and

(b)   expires at the end of 30 June 2016, as if it had been repealed by another instrument.

1. Exemption

The registered operator of an aircraft is exempt from compliance with paragraph 42.030 (2) (b) of CASR 1998 in relation to maintenance that has been carried out by an organisation that is permitted by regulation 42.301 of CASR 1998 to carry out that maintenance.
