Exemption — reweigh requirement
1 Duration
This instrument:
(a) commences on the day after it is registered; and
(b) stops having effect at the end 31 August 2008.
2 Application
This instrument applies to the Cessna C441 aircraft with nationality and registration marks VH-XMJ (the aircraft), operated by Rossair Charter Pty Ltd, Aviation Reference Number 511559.
3 Exemption
The aircraft is exempt from compliance with subregulation 235 (1) of CAR 1988 to the extent mentioned in Schedule 1.
4 Condition
The exemption is subject to the condition mentioned in Schedule 2.
Schedule 1 Extent of exemption
The exemption extends only to the direction under subregulation 235 (1) of CAR 1988 that is contained in paragraph 3.2 of Civil Aviation Order 100.7 (CAO 100.7) for the interval at which the aircraft is to be reweighed or have its weight validated.
Schedule 2 Condition
The aircraft must not fly after recording 10 234.2 hours of total aircraft time in service unless it:
(a) has been reweighed; or
(b) has had its record of weight alterations, contained in the aircraft’s log book, checked and the check has shown that the limits of paragraph 6.3 of CAO 100.7 have not been exceeded.
