Exemption — certified aerodrome operators

1          Duration

                 This instrument:

(a)   commences on the day after registration; and

(b)   stops having effect at the end of May 2013.

2          Application

                 The instrument applies to each operator of a certified aerodrome.

3          Exemption

The operator of a certified aerodrome is exempt from regulation 139.165 of CASR 1998 in respect of paragraphs 11.1.4.1 and 11.1.6 to 11.1.15.3 (inclusive) of the Manual of Standards Part 139.

4          Conditions

                 The exemption is subject to the conditions mentioned in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1          Conditions

        1     The operator must enter into an agreement with Airservices Australia for each proposed aerodrome development.

        2     The operator must keep a copy of the agreement and must not dispose of it unless the disposal is authorised by the agency disposal authority.

        3     A copy of the agreement must be made available to an aerodrome inspector on demand by the aerodrome inspector.
