Exemption — carriage of Mode S transponder equipment (Rawlings)

1          Duration

                 This instrument:

(a)   commences on the day of registration; and

(b)   is repealed at the earlier of the following times:

             (i)  the end of 31 July 2019;

            (ii)  when the aircraft mentioned in section 2 is modified by having its transponder installation replaced.

2          Application

                 This instrument applies to the Piel Super Diamant C.P.615 aircraft with markings VH‑KGW (the aircraft) operated by Graham Clive Rawlings, Aviation Reference Number 101784.

3          Exemption

                 A person using the aircraft is exempt from compliance with paragraph 9E.2 of Civil Aviation Order 20.18.
