CASA 80/18 — Number of Cabin Attendants(Tiger Airways Australia) Direction 2018
1 Name
This instrument is CASA 80/18 — Number of Cabin Attendants (Tiger Airways Australia) Direction 2018.
2 Duration
This instrument:
(a) commences on 1 December 2018; and
(b) is repealed at the end of 30 November 2020.
3 Application
This instrument applies to Tiger Airways Australia Pty Limited (TigerAirwaysAustralia), ARN 766093, if Tiger Airways Australia operatesanyofthe following aircraft (the relevant aircraft) in charter, orregularpublic transport, operations:
(a) Airbus A320 series aircraft that have the certified maximum passenger seating capacity of 180 passengers, and corresponding cabin configuration, mentioned in a type certificate data sheet for that series of aircraft;
(b) a Boeing B737‑800 model of aircraft with a type certificate data sheet that providesfor a maximum seating capacity of 189 passengers.
4 Directions
(1) Subparagraph 6.1 (b) of Civil Aviation Order 20.16.3, as in force from time to time, does not apply to Tiger Airways Australia in respect of its operation of the relevant aircraft.
(2) Tiger Airways Australia must assign for duty at least 1cabin attendant for every 50 passenger seats or part of that number fitted to the relevant aircraft.
(3) Tiger Airways Australia must give CASA 14 days written notice before making any revision to any part of its operations manual that affects emergency procedures for the relevant aircraft, including in relation to exits or procedures relating to able‑bodied passengers.
