Direction — interception of civil aircraft in Australian territory

1          Duration

                 This instrument:

(a)   commences on the day after registration; and

(b)   is repealed at the end of 31 July 2022.

2          Definitions

                 In this instrument:

ENR 1.12 means the procedures for the interception of civil aircraft mentioned in AIP ENR 1.12 Interception of Civil Aircraft, published by Airservices Australia, as it exists from time to time.

3          Application

                 This instrument applies to the pilot in command of an Australian aircraft or a foreign registered aircraft if the aircraft is:

(a)   operating in Australian territory; and

(b)   intercepted in accordance with ENR 1.12.

4          Directions

                 CASA directs the pilot in command to comply with the procedures mentioned in ENR 1.12.
