Direction — number of cabin attendants (Capiteq Limited)

1          Duration

                 This instrument:

(a)   commences on 1 June 2017; and

(b)   is repealed at the end of 31 May 2019.

2          Application

                 This instrument applies to Capiteq Pty Limited, trading as Airnorth, ARN 518845 (Capiteq Limited), if Capiteq Limited operates Embraer 170-100 series aircraft with a type certificate data sheet that provides for a maximum seating capacity of 78 passengers (the aircraft) in charter or regular public transport operations.

3          Directions

        (1)     Subparagraph 6.1 (b) of Civil Aviation Order 20.16.3, as in force from time to time, does not apply to Capiteq Limited.

        (2)     Capiteq Limited must assign for duty at least 1 cabin attendant for every 50 passenger seats or part of that number fitted to the aircraft.

        (3)     These directions are subject to the condition mentioned in section 4.

4          Condition

                 Capiteq Limited must not, without prior written approval of CASA, revise any part of its operations manual relating to emergency procedures, including exits or the procedures relating to able-bodied passengers.
