Approval — operations without an approved digital flight data recorder

1          Duration

            This instrument:

(a)   commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments; and

(b)   stops having effect at the end of 19 February 2006.

2          Application

            This instrument applies to the Cessna Aircraft Company C550 aeroplane, serial number 550-0810, with the nationality and registration marks VH-XCJ (the aeroplane).

3          Approval

            A person may operate the aeroplane without an approved digital flight data recorder.

4          Directions

            The aeroplane:

(a)   may only be operated in private operations; and

(b)   must not be operated in flying training operations; and

(c)   must be fitted with a serviceable cockpit voice recorder.

Note   The aircraft must comply with all other requirements of Civil Aviation Order 20.18.
