Direction — number of cabin attendants

1          Duration

            This instrument:

(a)   commences on the day after it is registered; and

(b)   stops having effect at the end of 30 September 2009.

2          Application

             This instrument applies to the aircraft mentioned in Schedule 1 operated by, Capiteq Limited trading as Airnorth, Aviation Reference Number 518845 (the operator), and engaged in regular public transport operations.

3          Direction

            I direct that the operator may operate the aircraft mentioned in Schedule 1 with 2 cabin attendants.

4          Conditions

            The direction is subject to the condition mentioned in Schedule 2.

Schedule 1          Aircraft

            Australian registered Embraer 170/100 with a type data certificate that provides for a maximum seating capacity of 78 passengers.

Schedule 2          Conditions

            During the aircraft take-off, landing operation and in prepared emergencies, a cabin attendant must be positioned in the crew seat adjacent the forward and aft entrance doors which serve as emergency exits.
