APPROVAL UNDER SUBREGULATION 207 (2)

I, JAMES MARCOLIN, Acting General Manager, General Aviation Operations, Aviation Safety Compliance, a delegate of CASA, under subregulation 207 (2) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988:

(a)revoke instrument CASA 398/03;  and

(b)approve the operation of the aircraft, listed in Schedule 1, by Hinterland Aviation Pty Ltd on regular public transport operations while they are fitted with the TAWS B+ Terrain Avoidance Warning System, King KGP 560 EGPWS incorporating terrain display, and without a GPWS referred to in subparagraph 9.1C (d) of section 20.18 of the Civil Aviation Orders.

Cessna Grand Caravan 208B        VH-MRZ

Cessna Grand Caravan 208B        VH-TFS

The approval is subject to the aircraft:

(a)being operated with no less than 2 pilots;  and

(b)being operated in conjunction with MacAir Airlines Pty Ltd.

This instrument starts having effect on gazettal and stops having effect at the end of 31 March 2006.
