Approval — charter operations without autopilot

1          Duration

            This instrument:

(a)   commences on 1 April 2007; and

(b)   ceases to have effect at the end of 31 March 2009.

2          Application

            This instrument applies to an aeroplane that:

(a)   is an Australian aircraft; and

(b)   is used only in cargo charter operations; and

(c)   has a maximum take-off weight of less than 5 700 kg.

3          Approval

            A person may use the aeroplane without an autopilot that meets the requirements of paragraph 4.1A of Civil Aviation Order 20.18.

Note   The aeroplane must comply with all other requirements of Civil Aviation Order 20.18.
