Direction — number of cabin attendants (Alliance Airlines)
1 Duration
This instrument:
(a) commences on 1 November 2017; and
(b) is repealed at the end of 31 October 2019.
2 Application
This instrument applies to Alliance Airlines Pty Limited, ARN 593564 (Alliance Airlines), if Alliance Airlines operates either of the following aircraft (the Fokker aircraft) in charter or regular public transport operations:
(a) Fokker F28 MK 0100 aircraft with a type certificate data sheet that provides for a maximum seating capacity of 100 passengers;
(b) Fokker F28 MK 0070 aircraft with a type certificate data sheet that provides for a maximum seating capacity of 80 passengers;
3 Directions
(1) Subparagraph 6.1 (b) of Civil Aviation Order 20.16.3, as in force from time to time, does not apply to Alliance Airlines in respect of its operation of the Fokker aircraft.
(2) Alliance Airlines must assign for duty at least 1 cabin attendant for every 50 passenger seats or part of that number fitted to the Fokker aircraft.
(3) Alliance Airlines must not, without prior written approval of CASA, revise any part of its operations manual affecting emergency procedures for the Fokker aircraft, including in relation to exits or procedures relating to able-bodied passengers.
