Under section 2 of the Carnarvon Banana Industry (Compensation Trust Fund) Amendment Act 1989, I, the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby fix the day that this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which the Carnarvon Banana Industry (Compensation Trust Fund) Amendment Act 1989 shall come into operation.
