Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds

Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds
Amendment Regulations 2014.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day fixed under the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Caravan Parks and Camping
Grounds Regulations 1997.

4.             Regulation 4 amended

(1)	In regulation 4(1) delete “section 15 of the Road Traffic Act 1974,” and insert:
the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 section 4,

(2) In regulation 4(2) delete the definition of road and insert:

road has the meaning given in the Road Traffic
(Administration) Act 2008 section 4.

5.             Regulation 6A inserted

After regulation 5 insert:

6A.	Assistance animals
These regulations are subject to any written law and any law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2).

6.             Schedule 8 amended

In Schedule 8 in the definition of number plate delete “Road

Traffic Act 1974;” and insert:

Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 section 3(1);
