Act No . 109, 1980 .

An Act to amend the Capital Debt Charges Act, 1957, consequent on the enactment of the Transport Authorities Act, 1980. [Assented to. 1st May, 1980.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Capital Debt Charges

(Transport Authorities) Amendment Act, 1980".

2.       (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on the date

of assent to this Act.

(2) Except as provided by subsection ( 1 ) , this Act shall

commence on 1st July, 1980.

3. The Capital Debt Charges Act, 1957, is amended—

(a) by omitting from the Schedule the following matter :—

1st July, 1956 . .1 The Commiss ioner fori Government Railways Act ,

I Railways. 1912, as amended.

(b) by omitting from the Schedule the following matter : —

1st July, 1956 . . i The Sydney Harbour Transport Sydney Harbour Transport

Board. Act, 1951, as amended.

(c) by omitting from the Schedule the following matter :—

1st July, 1956 . . The Commissioner for Transport Act, 1930, as

I Government Transport. amended.

4.      The amendments made by this Act do not apply to or in

respect of any financial years before that commencing on 1st July.
