REGULATIONS UNDER THE CANNED FRUITS EXPORT

CONTROL ACT 1926-1938.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Canned Fruits Export Control Act 1926-1938.

AMENDMENTS OF THE CANNED FRUITS EXPORT CONTROL (STAFF)

REGULATIONS. 

The Schedule

1. The Schedule to the Canned Fruits Export Control (Staff) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from Table A the words and figures

" *Secretary and Chief Executive Officer 1,000* 1,250* 50 ”

and inserting in their stead the words and figures—

" *Secretary and Chief Executive Officer 1,156* 1,344   63, 62, 63 ” ;

(b) by omitting from that table the footnote—

“ * Provisions of the Regulations relating to cost of living adjustment and marginal allowance shall not apply to the position of Secretary and Chief Executive Officer." ;

(c) by omitting from Table C the words and figures—

and inserting in their stead the words and figures—

(d) by omitting from that table the words and figures—

Commencement

2.—(1.) Paragraph (d) of regulation 1 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1947,

(2.) Paragraphs (a) and (b)of regulation 1 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the twenty-eighth day of August, 1947.

(3.) Paragraphs (c) and (e)of regulation 1 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the seventh day of October, 1948.

(4.) Paragraph (f)of regulation 1 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the fourteenth day of July, 1949.
