REGULATIONS
UNDER THE CANNED FRUITS EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1926-1933.
WHEREAS it is enacted by the Canned Fruits Export Control
Act 1926-1933 that for the purpose of enabling the Board effectively to
control the export, and the sale and distribution after export, of Australian
canned fruits, the Governor-General may by Proclamation prohibit the export
from the Commonwealth of any canned fruits except in accordance with a licence
issued by the Minister subject to such conditions and restrictions as are
prescribed after recommendation to the Minister by the Board:
And whereas by Proclamation dated
the seventh day of February, 1927, and published in the Gazette of the
eighth day of February, 1927, the Governor-General prohibited the export from
the Commonwealth on and after the fourteenth day of February, 1927, of any
canned fruits except in accordance with a licence issued by the Minister
subject to such conditions and restrictions as are prescribed after
recommendation to the Minister by the Board:
And whereas the Board has
recommended to the Minister that the conditions and restrictions subject to
which licences for the export from the Commonwealth of canned fruits are issued
should be amended as prescribed by the Regulations hereunder:
Now therefore I, the
Governor-General in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the Canned Fruits Export Control Act 1926-1933.

Amendment of Canned Fruits Export
Control (Licences) Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1927, No. 16, as amended by Statutory Rules
1930, No. 78, and 1932, No. 66.)
Interpretation
1. In these
Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, any reference to a
regulation shall be read as a reference to a regulation

contained in the Canned Fruits Export Control (Licences)
Regulations, as amended to the date of commencement of these Regulations, and
any reference to a Form shall be read as a reference to a Form contained in the
Schedule to these Regulations.
Application for licence to export to
the United Kingdom or Canada.
2.Regulation 3 is amended by inserting after the words “United
Kingdom” the words “or the Dominion of Canada”.
Licence to export.
3. Regulation 4 is amended by inserting after the words “United
Kingdom” the words “or the Dominion of Canada”.
Certificate to be issued to licensee.
4. Regulation
5 is amended by inserting after the words “United Kingdom” the words “or the
Dominion of Canada,”.
Certificate of issue of licence.
5. Regulation 6 is amended by inserting after the words “United
Kingdom” the words “or the Dominion of Canada, as the case may be”.
Licence to export to destinations
other than the United Kingdom or Canada.
6. Regulation 7 is amended by inserting after
the words “United Kingdom” (wherever occurring) the words “or the Dominion of
Canada”.

7. Regulation 8 is amended by inserting after
the words “United Kingdom” the words “or the Dominion of Canada,”.
