I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act IVIO.

An Ordinance to amend the Canberra Theatre Trust Ordinance 1965

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Canberra Theatre Trust

(Amendment) Ordinance 1983.'

Principal Ordinance

Trust Ordinance I965.2 2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Canberra Theatre

Procedure at meetings

"(aa) to act as agent, subject to such charges and other terms and conditions as the Trust thinks fit, for a person or organization for the purpose of collecting charges for admission to, or otherwise in connection with, an entertainment or other function held in a place other than the Canberra Theatre Centre (whether within or outside the Territory) by that person or organization or by another person or
organization;";

3. Section 16 ol the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from

paragraph (1) (a) "six" and substituting "5".

Functions of the Trust

4. Section 17 of the Principal Ordinance is amended

(a) by inserting after paragraph (a) the following paragraph:
Canberra Theatre Trust (Amendment) No. 3, 1983

(b)

by omitting from paragraph (b) "the last preceding paragraph" and substituting "paragraph (a)"; and

(c)

by omitting from paragraph (c) "foregoing functions" and substituting "functions referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b)".
