An Ordinance to amend the Canberra Theatre Trust

Ordinance 1965-1966.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Canberra Theatre Trust Ordinance 1967.*

(2.) The Canberra Theatre Trust Ordinance 1965-1966f is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may

be cited as the Canberra Theatre Trust Ordinance 1965-1967.

2 . Section 23 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting sub-sections (2.), (3.) and (4.) and inserting in their stead the follow­ ing sub-section:—

" (2.) By-laws have the force of law and shall be deemed to be regulations for the purposes of the Interpretation Ordinance 1937-1959 and the Regulations Publication Ordinance 1940.".

3 . Section 28 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting the words " in such form as the Treasurer approves ".

4.   Section 32 of the Principal Ordinance is amended— (a) by omitting from sub-section (1.) the words "thirty-first

day of July" and inserting in their stead the words
" thirtieth day of June "; and

(b) by omitting from that sub-section the word "Minister" (second occurring) and inserting in its stead the word " Treasurer ".
