CANBERRA THEATRE TRUST ORDINANCE—

REGULATIONS 1968, No. 14*

1.  By-law 2 of the Canberra Theatre Centre By-laws is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) of the definition of " prescribed period " the word " and " (last occurring); and
(b)

by omitting paragraph (&) of that definition and inserting in its stead " (b) in relation to the restaurant in the Centre—

(i)   the period commencing at ten o'clock in the morning on the day before New Year's Day and ending at one o'clock in the morning on New Year's Day, or, if the day before New Year's Day is a Sunday, com- mencing at noon on that day and ending at one o'clock in the morning on New Year's Day;

(ii)   the period commencing at noon and ending at ten o'clock in the evening on Christmas Day or on a Sunday other than the day before New Year's Day;

(iii)  the period commencing at ten o'clock in the morning and ending at midnight on any day except Christmas Day, Good Friday, a Sunday or the day before New Year's Day; and

(iv)   such other period or periods as the Trust fixes for a particular occasion in the restaurant; and

" (c) in relation to another part of the Centre—such period or periods as the Trust fixes for a particular occasion in that part of the Centre;".

2. By-law 6 of the Canberra Theatre Centre By-laws is amended by inserting after the word " Centre " (second occurring) the words ", in the restaurant in the Centre ".

3. By-law 8 of the Canberra Theatre Centre By-laws is repealed and the

following by-law inserted in its stead:—

" 8.—(1.) A person shall not purchase or obtain liquor in a part of the Centre

except during a prescribed period relating to that part of the Centre.

" (2.) A person shall not consume liquor—

(a) in the restaurant in the Centre except during a prescribed period relating to the restaurant and a period of half an hour immediately following the prescribed period; or

(Z>) in any other part of the Centre except during a prescribed period relating to that part of the Centre and a period of ten minutes immediately following the prescribed period.".
