Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Canberra Showground Trust

(Amendment) Ordinance 1980.1

SCHEDULE Section 2

DESCRIPTION OF CANBERRA SHOWGROUND

All that piece of land in the Canberra Central and Gungahlin Districts of the Australian Capital Territory containing an area of 40.4151 hectares more or less; commencing at a point on the northeast­ ern side of Flemington Road on a line bearing 319° 52' 50" for 87.813 metres from the intersection of that side of that road with the northwestern side of Northbourne Avenue as described in Computation Sheet D. 2120-6090 catalogued in the Australian Survey Office, Canberra; and bounded thence on the southwest by lines bearing consecutively 357" 22' 30" for 329.369 metres and 349° 08' for 204 metres; thence on the northwest by lines bearing consecutively 189.76 metres of an arc of radius 380 metres the chord of which lies to the southeast and bears 16° 33' 30" for 187.794 metres, 25° 26' for 55.22 metres, 37° 10' for 25.218 metres and 56° 12' for 83.565 metres; thence on the northeast by lines bearing con­ secutively 97° for 270 metres, 120° for 240 metres and 255.283 metres of an arc of radius 300 metres the chord of which lies to the southwest and bears 164° 9' 50" for 247.65 metres; thence on the southeast by a line bearing 229° 51' 55" for 778.512 metres; thence by a straight line to the point of
