Canberra Sewerage and Water Supply Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, GORDON GLEN DENTON SCHOLES, the Minister of State for Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Building and Services Ordinance 1924.

Injury to sewers

1. Regulation 62 of the Canberra Sewerage and Water Supply Regulations

is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1);

(b)	by omitting from sub-regulation (2) "Without limiting the effect of the last preceding sub-regulation" and substituting "A person shall not";
(c)	by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) "a person shall not"; and
(d)	by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) "a person shall not".

Drainage from stables, &c.

2. Regulation 63 of the Canberra Sewerage and Water Supply Regulations

is amended—

(a)	by inserting "closes," after "opens,"; and
(b)	by inserting "closed," after "opened,".
(a)	by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "In the case of motor car washing areas, triple interceptor traps shall be provided."; and
(b)	by inserting after sub-regulation (1) the following sub-regulation:

"(lA) An area used for the washing or servicing of motor vehicles or industrial plant shall be equipped with such triple interceptor traps, silt interceptor traps or oil interceptor traps as are approved.".

Unauthorized interference with Commonwealth property

3. Regulation 99 of the Canberra Sewerage and Water Supply Regulations

is amended—

Bathing or washing, &c, in waterworks

4. Regulation 111 of the Canberra Sewerage and Water Supply

Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (c).
