Cadet Forces Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903, the Naval Defence Act 1910 and the Air Force Act 1923.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Cadet Forces Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

2.1   Definition of “chief of staff”:

Omit the definition, substitute:

“‘service chief’,in relation to a cadet force or a member of a cadet force, means the service chief administering that cadet force under section 62 of the Defence Act 1903, section 39 of the Naval Defence Act1910 or section 8 of the Air Force Act 1923, as the case requires;”.
