McHUGH J:   This application seeks special leave to appeal against an order of the Full Family Court dismissing an appeal from an order of Lawrie J.  Her Honour dismissed the applicant's application for a residence order and an order changing his child's name.

The decision of Lawrie J was factual and discretionary in character.  There is no prospect of successfully appealing against the Full Court's order, which rested on the conclusion that Lawrie J made no error.

The application is dismissed.

Pursuant to rule 41.11.1 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing this application.

AT 9.39 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
