An Act to amend the Business Names Act 1962.

[Assented to 26 November 2003]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.             Short title

This Act may be cited as the Business Names Amendment

Act 2003.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

3.             The Act amended

The amendment in this Act is to the Business Names Act 1962*.

4.             Section 11 amended

After section 11(1) the following subsection is inserted —

“

(1a)

If, and to the extent that, the fee referred to in

subsection (1) is a tax, this subsection imposes the tax.

”.
