His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Business Names Act 1962.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:
(a) to increase certain fees payable under the Business Names Act 1962, and (b) to introduce new fees for the lodgment of a Statement of Change in Certain Particulars and a Statement of Change in Persons. This Regulation is made under the Business Names Act 1962, including section 32 (the general regulation-making power) and the sections referred to in the schedule of fees set out in Schedule 1 to this Regulation.

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Business Names Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 1997.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 1997.
3 Amendment of Business Names Regulation 1995
The Business Names Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.
