BUSINESS LICENCES ACT 1990—ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, WENDY SUSAN MACHIN, Minister for Consumer Affairs, in pursuance of section 18 of the Business Licences Act 1990, make the Order set forth hereunder.

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as Business Licences (Fees) Order 1994

No. 1.

Commencement

2. This Order has effect on and from 14 February 1994.

Licences to Which Order Applies

3. This Order applies to licences under the Motor Vehicle Repairs Act

1980 to carry on the business of repairing motor vehicles.

Fees to Which Order Applies

4. The fees to which this Order applies are set forth hereunder:

For making application for grant of a licence:

(a) if application is made within 12 months of expiry of a

previous licence held by the applicant $57
(b) any other case $160
For grant of licence $125
For periodic licence fee $125
For application for amendment of licence $10
For application for transfer of licence if partners change $10
For application for issue of a duplicate licence $10

Time Fee Payable

5. Any such fee is payable with the application except for a periodic licence fee which is payable annually before the common expiry day of the relevant master licence.

Refund or Waiver of Fee

6. The licensing authority may, in respect of the whole or part of any

such fee (other than an application for the issue of a duplicate licence):

(a)

authorise a refund where the application iswithdrawn or a licence is surrendered, revoked or suspended.

(b)

authorise a waiver where an application for amendment is made with the payment of a periodic licence fee for the licence.

Repeal

7. Business Licences (Fees) Order 1992 No. 6 published in the

Government Gazette No. 130 of 30 October 1992 is repealed.
