Business Franchise (Tobacco and Petroleum Products) Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, JOHN JOSEPH BROWN, the Minister of State for the Arts, Sport, the Environment, Tourism and Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Business Franchise (Tobacco and Petroleum Products) Ordinance 1984.

Principal Regulations
1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Business Franchise (Tobacco and Petroleum Products) Regulations.
Determination of value of tobacco
2. Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended:
(a)by adding at the end of paragraph (2) (a) “or”;
(b)by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) “or”;
(c)by omitting from paragraph (2) (c); and
(d)by omitting subregulation (3).
Keeping of records: tobacco
3. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended:
(a)by omitting paragraph (1) (d);
(b)by omitting from subregulation (2) all the words after “commencing” and substituting “on the first day of each month and ending on the last day of the same month”; and
(c)by inserting before paragraph (3) (a) the following paragraphs:
“(aa)the name and address of the person from whom the tobacco was purchased and, if known, the address from which the tobacco was delivered;
(ab)the date of the purchase;
(ac)the quantity and value of each brand of tobacco purchased;
(ad)the address to which and the date on which the tobacco was delivered;
(ae)the quantity and value of each brand of tobacco purchased;”.
Keeping of records: petroleum
4. Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after subregulation (2) the following subregulation:
“(2A) The details of the motor spirit and diesel fuel sold each day shall include the reading as at:
(a)if the business operates 24 hours a day—the beginning of each day; or
(b)in any other case—the beginning of business each day;
of any meter through which the motor spirit or diesel fuel was passed for the purpose of ascertaining the volume sold.”.
Repeal of regulation 7
5. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is repealed.
