Business Franchise (Tobacco and Petroleum Products) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, JOHN JOSEPH BROWN, the Minister of State for the Arts, Sport, the Environment, Tourism and Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Business Franchise (Tobacco and Petroleum Products) Ordinance 1984.

Principal Regulations

1.  In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Business Franchise (Tobacco and Petroleum Products) Regulations.

Keeping of records

2.  Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a)by adding at the end of subregulation (2) the following paragraph:

“(d)the total value of sales of tobacco made by each tobacco vending machine in each period referred to in paragraph (c).”; and

(b)by omitting paragraph (3) (ae).

Keeping of records:  petroleum

3.  Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a)by omitting paragraph (1) (e); and

(b)by inserting after subparagraph (3) (v) the following subparagraph:

“(va)in the case of the sale of diesel fuel—whether the sale was to the holder of an exemption certificate, and if so, the identifying number in respect of the certificate.”.
