An Act to amend section 41 of the Business Franchise Licences (Tobacco) Act 1987 to increase the fees paid for licences under that Act. [Assented to 24 August 1989]

Business Franchise Licences (Tobacco) Further Amendment 1989

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Business Franchise Licences

(Tobacco) Further Amendment Act 1989.

Commencement

2.     This Act is to be taken to have commenced on 28 July 1989.

Amendment of Business Franchise Licences (Tobacco) Act 1987 No.
93, s. 41 (Fees)

3. Section 41 of the Business Franchise Licences (Tobacco) Act

1987 is amended by omitting the words "30 per cent" wherever

occurring and by inserting instead the words "35 per cent".

Application of Act

4.     The amendment made by this Act applies to and in respect of

a fee payable for a licence which is to take effect on or after 28 August

1989.
