An Act to amend the Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Act 1987 to vary the fees paid for licences under that Act. [Assented to 19 December 1995]

Section 1 Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Amendment Act 1995 No 85

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

This Act is the Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum
Products) Amendment Act 1995.

2 Commencement

This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 October 1995.

3 Amendment of Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Act 1987 No 94, s 40 (Fees)

The Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Act 1987 is amended by omitting section 40 (3) and by inserting instead the following subsection:

(3) For the purposes of subsection (1), the prescribed
proportion is:
(a) in respect of motor spirit-9.92 per cent, and
(b) in respect of diesel fuel-16.52 per cent.

4 Application of Act

The amendment made by this Act applies to and in respect of a fee for a licence taking effect on or after 1 November 1995.
