An Act to mend the Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Act 1987 to increase the fees paid for licences under that Act. [Assented to 27 November 1991]

Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Amendment 1991

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Business Franchise Licences

(Petroleum Products) Amendment Act 1991.

Commencement

  1. This Act commences or is taken to have commenced on 1 October

1991.

Amendment of Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products)
Act 1987 No. 94, s. 40 (Fees)

  1. The Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Act 1987 is

amended by omitting section 40 (3) and by inserting instead the following

subsection:

(3) For the purposes of subsection (l), the prescribed proportion is:

(a) in respect of motor spirit—8.81 per cent; and

(b) in respect of diesel fuel—14.67 per cent.

Application of Act

  1. The amendment made by this Act applies to and in respect of a fee

for a licence taking effect on or after 1 November 1991.
