Bush Fires (Infringements) Amendment
Regulations 2003
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations may be cited as the Bush Fires

2. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the First Schedule to the Bush Fires (Infringements) Regulations 1978*.

3. First Schedule amended
(1) After item 6 the following items are inserted -

6A Section 24D Burning garden refuse when fire 250 danger is extreme or very high 6B Section 24E Burning garden refuse at rubbish tip I 000 contrary to notice 6C Section 24F Burning garden refuse during 250 limited burning times 6D Section 246 Burning garden refuse contrary to 250 Ministerial or local government
prohibition or restriction
(2) Item 10 is deleted.
(3) Item 39 is amended by deleting "60" and inserting instead -
" 500 ".
(4) Items 41 and 42 are deleted and the following items are inserted
instead -
41 Regulation 38B(3)(a) Operating any power saw, bag 500 loader or other plant or
equipment activated by aninternal combustion engine
contrary to harvest ban
42 Regulation 38B(3)(b) Failure to fit spark arrester to 250 power saw, bag loader or other
plant or equipment
(5) Item 43 is amended as follows:
(a) by deleting "Regulation 38C(1)" and inserting " Regulation 38C(3)
(b)
by deleting "60" and inserting instead - " 500 ".
(6) The items listed in the Table to this subregulation are amended
by deleting "100" and inserting instead -

(7) Items 5, 6, 20, 24 and 50 are amended by deleting "40" and
inserting instead —
