New South Wales BUSH FIRES ACT 1949—PROCLAMATION
(L.S.) G. SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 411 of the Bush Fires Act 1949, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 3 to that Act:
(a)
following words:
Botanyby omitting from the words under the heading “Areas of:" the Shellharbour
(b) by inserting in alphabetical order under the heading “Areas of:” the Pittwater
(c) following words:
Botany Bayby inserting in alphabetical order under the heading “Cities of: ” the Shellharbour

Bush Fires Act 1949—Proclamation
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The main object of this Proclamation is to enable the Co-ordinating Committee and Chief Co-ordinator under the Bush Fires Act 1949 to exercise their powers, authorities, duties and functions in the Pittwater local government area.
This Proclamation also updates references to the cities of Botany Bay, Rockdale and
Shellharbour (formerly the local govennent areas of Botany, Rockdale and Shellharbour).
