AN ACT to amend the Bush Fires Act,

1885.

Al HEREAS it is expedient to further amend the Law relating

to Bush Fires: Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. THIS Act may be cited for all purposes as the Bush Fires Short Title.

Act, 1885, Amendment Act, 1898.

2. SECTION seven of the Bush Fires Act, 1885, is hereby Amendment of See. 7

amended by omitting all the words a fter the word " pounds" in the	of 49 Viet., No. 9.
fifth line thereof.

3. SECTIONS eight and nine of the Bush Fires Act, 1885, are Repeal of Sees. 8 and

hereby repealed. 9 of 49 Viet., No. 9.
