An Act to amend

The Bush Fires Act, 1864."

[Assented to, 6th November, 1874.3

HEREAS it is expedient to amend so much of "The Bush Preamble.

W Fires Act, 1564," as fixes the time for burning stubble, hay, or grass-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. Whenever in the said Act the words " six and ten in the after- Altering time for

noon," and before six o'clock or after ten " shall occur, the aame shall be read as "four and ten in the afternoon," and "before four o'clock or after ten " respectively.
